[Charlie's making breakfast. The waffle iron is on, there is bacon frying in a pan and coffee brewing in the pot nearby. This is unusual because Charlie doesn't typically eat breakfast. However, she's noticed people on the device acting strangely. THey've forgotten things, as far as she can tell, and she wanted to make sure she hadn't.

So far, so good. She's content to crack some eggs into a bowl and scramble them, setting that aside long enough to open a bag of shredded cheese and dump some of that in the eggs. She steps back, looking over what she's done so far when the oven dings. A small towel is grabbed, the oven is open and out she pulls cinnamon rolls.]

Okay. Far as I can tell, I'm not cursed. I still remember how to cook, at the very least, but only time will tell.

[Pause.] Man, I cooked a lot. Wonder if Bucky and Steve are hungry?

[And with that, she begins cooking the eggs.]

[One week out of work due to a case of "killer fishlady" and Charlie was determined to make it to work today. She'd tried on Halloween but apparently, she was mistaken for something tasty and nutritious a few times and after making sure people got home and away from the cannibalistic residents of The City, Charlie stayed in until she was sure it was safe to go out. She had errands to run before heading to The Jasmine Dragon, though, so her schedule sort of went like this:

First Stop: Laundromat. Her clothes need washing. Some of them are bloody. Anything that still had a blood stain on it after being washed was tossed. She also brought along a couple books to read and an apple and has tucked herself into a corner to read while she waits for machines to finish doing their thing.

Second Stop: Groceries. Yes, she's going to try to carry groceries AND a small duffel bag of clothes. No, she doesn't need h---okay, maybe if someone took a shopping bag, that'd be super.

Third Stop: Home but that's irrelevant. She's just here to drop things off, put things away and then head to work.

Final Stop! If anyone is at the Jasmine Dragon, Charlie will be your friendly waitress today.

Feel free to catch her at any of these places! Even after work!]

[Charlie's seated, probably outside somewhere. She has the network device pointed at herself and she's humming slightly. Probably something from the concert. What? The music wasn't that bad. It was pretty amazing, actually, and her first concert.]

So...now that I am out of my skates and back in my regular clothes, I have to say for a first curse, that wasn't what I was expecting. Truth be told, I have no clue what I was expecting. I know waking up with a desire to put on a poodle skirt and skate around with french fries and malts on a tray wasn't it.

[She's amused, fiddling with the device a moment before shifting. It's now obvious she's on a bench somewhere.] Does anyone else have You Send Me by Sam Goode stuck in their head, as well? [She shrugs.] It's not a bad song. My parents used to dance in the kitchen in my grandfathers lake house to it at 2 AM when they thought I was sleeping. And yeah, that song is even before their time but still.

[Ah, memories. She smiles a bit briefly before saying one last thing.] That was fun.
