[There is the sound of paper rustling and a faint scratching sound, possibly pen on the aforementioned paper. And Charlie's muttering to herself.]

Okay...okay, so...[pause] No clue what I'm doing. Shoulda paid better attention to Norma when she cooked thanksgiving dinner.

[There is a thump, pages being turned and more of that scratching-on-paper sound.]

...don't even like the holidays that much. And this shopping list is getting ridiculously long.

Nope. Not really. I'm usually in charge of pies or rolls. Norma did everything and it was all amazing.

Bucky's coming to help with the shopping, which reminds me I made this list without even paying attention to what food we have here. Oops.

You wanna help with cooking? Because I'm kind of insane and planned a lot of food.

Hey, more food never hurt anyone. I'd rather have more food in our pantries than we know what to do with than no food at all.

Cooking I can definitely do. Sometimes I had to help out in the kitchen with the Crashdown got busy if the second cook couldn't come in right away. My family owns this restaurant, see, and we lived above it. I've been around food and cooking all my life.

[ which reminded her: she should probably look into waitressing again somewhere. she was good at it, and a part of her missed it, even if she missed her barely started internship even more. ]

Same. Who knows what the curses will throw at us and we end up stuck inside, right? I'm hoping we still have the boxes of elbow macaroni because I wanted to make my grandmothers baked macaroni and cheese. That stuff is ridiculously good.
