That...was bullshit.
[She's frowning, head on her arms. And she doesn't even know the device is on. If she did, she probably wouldn't have sworn. Or continued swearing, fingers lacing anxiously through her hair. When she's finished with probably the most creative string of swears she's ever said, she sighs. Hypnos, who had been seated nearby, decides it's the best time to climb into the hood of the sweatshirt Charlie was wearing, meowing loudly and resting her head on Charlie's shoulder.]
...at least the owners of the book store understood it was a curse. All I have to do is pay for the camera I destroyed. [pause...more swearing. Charlie sits up long enough to notice the feed is running and, closing her eyes, she thumps her head back onto her arms.]
Who else was cursed to rob people?
